Everything you want to know before bringing home a forest friend
We streamline the journey with clear steps, transparent communication, and support that continues long after gotcha day. Here are the questions future adopters ask most.
How long does adoption take?
Most applications are reviewed within 2–3 business days. Timelines vary based on meet‑and‑greet scheduling and references, but we keep you updated. Once you complete the application fee step, we generally place the pet on hold while we review.
Do I need prior pet experience?
No. First‑time adopters are welcome — our counselors help you find a safe match and set expectations for routines, introductions, and care.
What support do you offer after adoption?
We provide follow‑up support and resources after adoption. If you have questions about feeding, routines, introductions, or behavior, reach out — we want the transition home to go smoothly.
